It's the New Year!!!!

I will tell you mine if you tell me yours...

"What are your New Year's Resolutions for 2013?!"

Holidays - Come & Gone!!

As I say goodbye to 2012, and welcome the beginning of 2013, I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas & New Year as much as I did!  For me, it's all about being with family & friends, and giving to the ones you love!

But now it's time to take care of yourself!  The stresses of the holidays may be gone, but Now What?? We go back to work, put the kids back in school, get back to the gym, start a new healthy diet, etc...

I'll tell you, I can feel a knot forming in my shoulder just thinking about it!  My point is, it's back to our normal routine, which contains many good & bad mental and physical stresses - let me help you stay on top of it all through regular, consistent massage!

Weekly Quote

"Sometimes the most urgent and vital thing you can possibly do is take a complete rest."
 Ashleigh Brilliant

Daily Tip

Speak up!! I know, I know, it’s supposed to be a relaxing experience and you don’t want to chitchat, but unless your massage therapist is a mind-reader, she’s not going to know whether the pressure is right unless you tell her. If you feel weird chirping in halfway through—you know, when you’re writhing in pain—then talk about your preference when you first enter the room. Just remember, your therapist will do her best to check in with you throughout the session, but do not hesitate to speak up at any time for any reason.

Fun Fact

Massage is scientifically shown to be an effective treatment for the following conditions:
  • Cancer-related fatigue
  • Chronic low back pain
  • Reducing headache frequency
  • After surgery to help with post-operative pain
